Job summary

Profex Tech is seeking a Project Engineer Civil & Interior Fit-Out to lead site execution for civil and interior fit-out projects. You will supervise civil, structural and finishing works, coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal teams to meet drawings, specs and quality.

The role requires strong site execution, BOQ/measurement skills and hands-on HVAC/MEP knowledge, with PAN India travel for project delivery.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and interior fit-out.
• Experience in commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel PAN India.

Responsibilities

• Handle site execution of civil and interior fit-out works.
• Supervise structural, civil and finishing activities at site.
• Manage interior works including flooring, partitions, false ceiling, painting and other finishing activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and technical drawings.
• Prepare and check BOQ, material requirements and site measurements.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Manage manpower, materials and day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety norms.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly project progress reports.
• Handle contractor and subcontractor coordination and billing.
• Identify and resolve site-level technical and execution-related issues.
• Monitor work progress and ensure proper coordination between different site activities.
• Support final inspection, snagging, rectification and project handover activities.
• Handle site execution of HVAC and core MEP services.

• Experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
• Good knowledge of site quality control and safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and site reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
• Ability to manage site activities while maintaining quality and timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Candidates with immediate or short notice periods will be preferred.
• Strong site execution, coordination and project management skills.
• Must be Comfortable in PAN India Travel.
