Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a senior design professional with 8+ years of hands-on experience in CRP panel design and control & protection. The role involves drafting and reviewing schematics, SLDs, and cable schedules, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and validating sub-supplier documents to meet customer standards.

You will participate in FAT/SAT activities, provide on-site commissioning support, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Control & Protection CRP Panel Design
• Strong cable engineering knowledge
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to finalize solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• CRP Panel design and review schematics, SLDs, panel layouts, cable schedules, and termination tables
• Prepare design specifications, overview diagrams, and concept clarifications in collaboration with concept coordinators
• Coordinate with departments to prepare division of works and CBD/PCD documents
• Validate drawings and documents from sub-suppliers against customer specs and internal standards
• Participate in FAT/SAT activities with sub-suppliers and support commissioning at site
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and Hitachi Energy standards

Job description

CRP Panel design and review the schematics, SLD, Panel Layouts, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination connection table, PCD, CBD.

How you’ll make an impact:

You will prepare of Design Specifications, Overview Diagrams and Concept Clarifications in close cooperation with the concept coordinators.

You will discuss with other departments / stakeholders to prepare the Division of works.

You will prepare the CBD, PCD, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination connection table, etc.

You will validate the design drawings / documents provide by sub supplier to meet customer specification and Internal Standards.

You will be involved in FAT / SAT activities with along with sub suppliers.

You will technically support at site during commissioning phase of the project.

You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

You hold a degree in B.E. EEE.

Minimum work experience of 8+ years in Control & Protection CRP Panel Design.

You should have experience in Cable Engineering, E3 Desing software.

Base Template/ Symbol / Library creation in E 3 Tool.

You must have Site experience in AC Control & Protection Testing & Commissioning.

Should have experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholder’s tom finalize the solution.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
