Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED in Chennai, India seeks an experienced Project Engineer for CRP panel design and control & protection rigour. The role includes design review, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and on-site commissioning support.

You will prepare CBD/PCD, cable schedules, and termination tables, validate supplier drawings, and participate in FAT/SAT activities while ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in B.E. EEE.
• Minimum work experience of 8+ years in Control & Protection CRP Panel Design.
• Experience in Cable Engineering, E3 Design software.
• Base Template/ Symbol / Library creation in E3 Tool.
• Site experience in AC Control & Protection Testing & Commissioning.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to finalize solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality digital solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Design Specifications, Overview Diagrams and Concept Clarifications in close cooperation with concept coordinators.
• Discuss with other departments / stakeholders to prepare the Division of works.
• Prepare CBD, PCD, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination connection table, etc.
• Validate design drawings/documents provided by sub-suppliers to meet customer specs and internal standards.
• Involved in FAT / SAT activities with sub-suppliers.
• Provide on-site technical support during commissioning phase of the project.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
