Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer with 8+ years in CRP panel design to lead design activities, validate supplier drawings and support commissioning efforts at site.

The role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, preparing electrical CAD outputs, and ensuring conformance to standards and safety guidelines at project sites in India.

Qualifications

• Be/BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years in Control & Protection CRP Panel Design.
• Experience in Cable Engineering and E3 Design software.
• Experience creating Base Templates/Symbols/Library in E3 Tool.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design specifications, overview diagrams and concept clarifications with concept coordinators.
• Coordinate with departments/stakeholders to prepare the division of works.
• Prepare CBD, PCD, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination tables, etc.
• Validate design drawings/documents from sub-suppliers to meet customer specs and internal standards.
• Participate in FAT/SAT activities with sub-suppliers.
• Provide technical support on-site during commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

The opportunity

CRP Panel design and review the schematics, SLD, Panel Layouts, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination connection table, PCD, CBD.

How you’ll make an impact

• You will prepare of Design Specifications, Overview Diagrams and Concept Clarifications in close cooperation with the concept coordinators.
• You will discuss with other departments / stakeholders to prepare the Division of works.
• You will prepare the CBD, PCD, Cable Schedule, Cable Termination connection table, etc.
• You will validate the design drawings / documents provide by sub supplier to meet customer specification and Internal Standards.
• You will be involved in FAT / SAT activities with along with sub suppliers.
• You will technically support at site during commissioning phase of the project.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• You hold a degree in B.E. EEE.
• Minimum work experience of 8+ years in Control & Protection CRP Panel Design.
• You should have experience in Cable Engineering, E3 Desing software.
• Base Template/ Symbol / Library creation in E 3 Tool.
• You must have Site experience in AC Control & Protection Testing & Commissioning.
• Should have experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholder’s tom finalize the solution.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
