Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a Site Supervisor for rooftop solar EPC projects. You will supervise INC teams on site, coordinate with design, engineering, and warehouse colleagues, and ensure proper installation of solar electrical systems and BOS components.

You will lead safety-focused inspections, troubleshoot on-site issues, and mentor junior supervisors to maintain milestones and project quality. A background in electrical, mechanical, or civil studies with solar experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E. or Diploma in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field with 2+ years in solar rooftop projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical wiring, and balance of systems components.
• Attention to detail, manpower management, and commitment to quality control.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for renewable energy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and engineering to ensure accurate BOS plans aligned with project specs.
• Continuously optimize BOS designs to enhance efficiency while controlling costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to anticipate material shortfalls and ensure smooth on-site workflow.
• Manage and lead INC teams daily, monitor progress, and elevate issues to the project manager.
• Track INC team performance and milestones using reporting templates.
• Train and mentor new site supervisors who will manage smaller INC teams.
• Oversee electrical connections of solar systems and install AC/DC components.
• Wire, ground, and interconnect panels, inverters, and other equipment with electricians.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during pre-commissioning and submit commissioning reports for net metering.
• Implement rigorous quality control for roof work, electrical connections, and earthing.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with standards and safety guidelines.
• Address deviations promptly and ensure corrective actions.

• Implement rigorous quality control measures for roof work, electrical connections, and earthing.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Address deviations promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.
