Job summary

MYK LATICRETE is seeking a Deputy Manager - Projects Engineer to lead electrical load analysis, schedules, and multi-disciplinary interfaces on industrial plants in Hyderabad. The role emphasizes site supervision, commissioning support, and strict adherence to safety and electrical standards.

The incumbent will coordinate with Architects, OEMs, and production teams, review drawings and BOQs, and supervise testing from installation through handover, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, EEE or Instrumentation required.
• Hands-on site experience in industrial manufacturing plants.
• Experience with plant erection, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical load requirements and prepare/verify load schedules.
• Review and Monitor Contractor and Sub Contractors and supervise instrument SLD, MCC, PCC, DB, cable schedule, cable laying, glanding, termination, cable routing, earthing and lighting drawings.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with Architects and prepare all required electrical BOQ's and prepare/review material requisitions and technical specifications.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with civil, mechanical, process, production teams and OEM's.
• Inspect electrical installation for compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out cable testing, motor testing, insulation resistance testing, continuity checks and other pre-commissioning activities.
• Review P&IDs, instrument index, I/O list, instrument datasheets and Verify PLC I/O allocation and field instrument termination.
• Coordinate PLC, HMI/SCADA and plant automation activities with the automation contractor/OEM.
• Support PLC/HMI logic testing and plant trial runs, final commissioning, performance testing and plant handover
• Ensure all electrical work complies with approved HSE procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
