Purpose/Objective

• The role is responsible for assisting in planning, executing, and maintaining electrical systems and installations, ensuring compliance with standards and timely completion within budget.
• This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining quality and safety, and managing documentation to support successful project delivery and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Project Engineer - Electrical- Coal Mining Planning and Documentation: Assist in preparing electrical project BOQs, proposals, and budget estimates.
• Support the preparation of detailed electrical drawings and tender documents, including single-line diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Document changes to electrical project specifications and scope.
• Maintain accurate records and ISO documentation for electrical components.
• Project Execution: Supervise electrical fieldwork, ensuring compliance with standards, codes (e.

  , NEC, IEC), and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee electrical installations and commissioning, including switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems.
• Monitor and inspect electrical systems for performance, reliability, and safety compliance.
• Address and resolve electrical technical issues during project execution.
• Operations and Maintenance: Assist in planning and budgeting for annual electrical maintenance activities.
• Monitor and coordinate electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical maintenance works, including wiring, control systems, and lighting.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure all work adheres to ISO procedures.
• Stakeholder Coordination and Quality: Collaborate with electrical contractors, consultants, and internal departments.
• Participate in meetings to plan and schedule electrical activities.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among electrical project stakeholders.
