Carrier is seeking a System Engineer in Gurgaon to lead HVAC system development for Light commercial and VRF products. You will drive programs from concept to release, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing performance and cost.

• Familiarity with BIS, ISO, IEC standards for HVAC products.

For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.**About the role:**This role will be responsible for new product development for HVAC Light commercials and VRF.**Key Responsibilities:** As a System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:* Lead/ support cooling system (HVAC) engineering programs from concept through validation and release, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, timelines, and business objectives* Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, to ensure successful program execution.* Follow, develop & maintain system‐level engineering plans, including scope definition, technical deliverables, design milestones, and resource coordination* Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and system‐level risks related to cooling performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle* Define, track, and review engineering KPIs such as cooling performance, efficiency, reliability, validation status, and schedule adherence* Ensure cooling system designs comply with applicable regulations, standards, and internal engineering processes (e.g., HVAC codes, safety, quality, and stage‐gate requirements)* Contribute to continuous improvement of cooling system design practices, tools, and best practices* Must have a background in HVAC&R or related Industry**Requirements**As a minimum you must have:Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:* Target experience level: 4~ 8 years* HVAC Light commercial / VRF & Residential new product development. required as below:* Proven experience in cooling system design, development, or system engineering* Must have on hand experience of Designing of Inverter systems, Heat exchangers, refrigeration cycle and it’s balancing for new product / concept.* Clear understanding of standard framework (BIS, ISO,BEE,IEC) for HVAC products* Solid understanding of product development, lifecycle and engineering governance* Knowledge & hands-on experience in simulations tools (Model based design)* Ability to work effectively with cross‐functional and global teams* Motivated to work individually and with team – locally and globally.* Hands-on experience on the manufacturing process, FMEA and Quality systems.* Should have gone through ECR / ECIN process* Exposure to design software.
