Job summary

SAMSUNG E&A in India is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Project Management team. You will develop and execute engineering execution plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Seoul office, to ensure timely deliverables.

The role requires 5–10 years in Project Engineering/Construction Planning, strong EPC experience in refinery/petrochemical projects, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering execution plans.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and Seoul office to meet deadlines.
• Monitor schedule, quality, budget, and deliverables.
• Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate model reviews, tag closure, clash resolution, notes, and 2D coordination.
• Lead weekly project meetings and prepare MOM and action trackers.
• Coordinate with India/Seoul engineering managers.
• Maintain project documentation, change registers, and updates.
• Ensure lessons learned and QA requirements are implemented.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Project Management team.

• Develop and execute comprehensive engineering execution plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and the Seoul office to ensure timely deliverables.
• Monitor project schedule, quality, budget, and deliverables.
• Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate Model Review Meetings, Tag Closure, Clash Resolution, DRC, P&ID Notes, TDL, Synch Workspace, and 2D coordination activities.
• Conduct weekly project meetings and prepare MOM and action trackers.
• Coordinate with Engineering Managers and India/Seoul engineering teams.
• Maintain project documentation, change registers, action lists, and project updates.
• Ensure implementation of Lessons Learned and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in Project Engineering / Construction Planning
• Strong experience in Refinery / Petrochemical EPC projects
• Good understanding of the EPC project lifecycle
• Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / Project Planning & Scheduling
• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and dashboards
• Added Advantage: PMP / CCP (AACE International) certification.
