Job summary

Helpage India invites applications for a Project Coordinator to drive the One Stop Elderly Centre (OSEC) initiative. You will lead setup, operationalization, and expansion, ensuring quality and donor-aligned outcomes across planning, budgeting, and implementation.

You will manage partnerships with government departments, hospitals, NGOs, and CSR partners, coordinating healthcare, legal aid, pensions, and social support while ensuring data quality and impact reporting.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (MSW/MPH/Development Studies).
  • Experience in multi-stakeholder projects and donor-funded programs.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and data reporting capabilities.

  • Ensure infrastructure, staffing, and systems meet OSEC standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of integrated services: healthcare, psychosocial support, legal aid, pensions, and more.
  • Build partnerships with government departments, hospitals, NGOs, and CSR partners.
  • Manage referral cases and ensure service convergence for healthcare and social support.
  • Supervise staff and build capacity with training and ToT models.
  • Develop program indicators, strengthen MIS, and report to donors.

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator One Stop Elderly Centre (OSEC) is responsible for driving the establishment, management, and sustainability of an integrated elderly care hub, ensuring delivery of preventive, primitive, and rehabilitative services under one roof. The role is accountable for end-to-end program planning, implementation, service quality, stakeholder engagement, and performance outcomes, aligned with organizational goals and donor commitments.

  • Location: Gurgaon

  • Reports to: State Programme Manager

  • Tenure: 1 Year (project duration)



Responsibilities


  • Program Planning & Implementation

    • Lead setup, operationalization, and expansion of OSEC centres at assigned locations

    • Develop annual work plans, budgets, and implementation strategies

    • Ensure infrastructure, staffing, and systems are aligned with OSEC standards



  • Service Delivery & Quality Assurance

    • Oversee day-to-day delivery of integrated services, including:

      • Healthcare, physiotherapy, psycho-social support

      • Legal aid, social security facilitation

      • Day care, recreation, and digital literacy



    • Ensure services are accessible, inclusive, and beneficiary-centric

    • Monitor service quality, utilization, and beneficiary satisfaction



  • Partnership & Stakeholder Management

    • Build and manage partnerships with:

      • Government departments (Health, Social Welfare, NHM, DALSA)

      • Hospitals, NGOs, community-based organizations



    • Enable service convergence for healthcare, pensions, insurance, and legal support

    • Management of referral cases to territory care hospitals

    • Engage local stakeholders and CSR partners for program sustainability



  • Team Management & Capacity Building

    • Supervise OSEC staff, including outreach workers & Physiotherapist

    • Build team capacity using structured training and Training of Trainers (ToT) models

    • Ensure strong performance management and supportive supervision



  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

    • Develop and track program indicators, outputs, and outcomes

    • Strengthen MIS systems and ensure data quality and accuracy

    • Submit timely program reports to internal and donor stakeholders

    • Conduct regular field visits, audits, and review meetings



  • Financial Management

    • Manage program budgets, ensure cost-effectiveness, and monitor utilization

    • Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and donor requirements

    • Regular donor reporting and communication through state team



  • Documentation & Knowledge Management

    • Document best practices, case studies, and success stories

    • Support research, learning, and dissemination of program insights

    • Contribute to evidence-building for scaling the OSEC model



  • Key Deliverables

    • Operational One Stop Elderly Centres serving targeted beneficiary coverage

    • Improved access to healthcare, social security, and psychosocial support for elderly

    • Strong community and institutional partnerships

    • High-quality program, financial, and impact reporting

    • Documented case studies / best practices annually





Qualifications & Experience


  • Master degree in Social Work / Public Health / Development Studies / related field.

  • Preferably 35 years of experience in program management, preferably in elderly care, health, or community development or in managing urban and community-based service centres

  • Experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects and donor-funded programs.

  • Strong program management and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of elderly welfare schemes & social protection systems

  • Strong communication skills (English & Hindi)

  • Monitoring & evaluation and reporting expertise.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work in dynamic environments.

  • Should be sensitive to the cause of the organisation
