Novonesis is seeking a Project Coordinator – Civil to coordinate civil construction, infrastructure, maintenance, and renovation projects on-site at the Novonesis Plant in Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai).

You will work with external contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience coordinating external civil contractors and construction service providers.
• Knowledge of site inspections, measurements, schedules, quality checks, and handover.
• Familiarity with civil drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Understanding of construction safety and permits.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate civil construction, maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure projects delivered by external contractors and service providers.
• Support planning, scheduling, site execution, inspections, measurements, testing, snagging, and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and other technical docs to guide project execution.
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, quality, safety, and budget; track milestones and risks.
• Coordinate site activities across buildings, foundations, roads, drainage, and other civil works.

Working closely with external contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and site stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed quality, schedule, and budget requirements.The Role & Your ImpactIn this role, you will coordinate civil engineering and construction activities from planning through site execution and project handover. You will provide hands-on coordination across contractors and internal stakeholders, helping keepprojects on track while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, and documentation.You will:Coordinate civil construction, maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure projects delivered by external contractors, consultants, and service providers.Support project planning, scheduling, site execution, inspections, measurements, testing, snagging, and final handover.Review contractor proposals, civil and structural drawings, specifications, method statements, schedules, and other technical documentation to support effective project execution.Monitor contractor progress against agreed scope, schedule, quality, safety, and budget expectations, while tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and punch-list items.Coordinate site activities involving buildings, foundations, structural works, roads, flooring, roofing, paving, drainage, and other civil infrastructure, including site access, permits, shutdowns, and material deliveries.Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and external partners to resolve technical issues, address risks, and support effective project delivery.What You’ll Need to Be SuccessfulWe are looking for someone who brings:A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering .3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, facilities, plant maintenance, or civil project coordination.Experience coordinating external civil contractors, consultants, and construction service providers.Good working knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and site execution.Experience with site inspections, quantity measurements, project schedules, quality checks, contractor progress monitoring, and project handover.Ability to review civil, structural, architectural, drainage, and infrastructure drawings.Knowledge of construction safety requirements, work permits, risk assessments, and method statements.Strong coordination, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple contractors, activities, and stakeholders effectively.Additional Skills & Interests We ValueIt would be an advantage if you also bring:Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, commercial, or facilities environment.Familiarity with quantity estimation, Bills of Quantities, contractor measurements, and work verification.Practical knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, masonry, flooring, roofing, paving, drainage, and related civil works.Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing-review tools.Experience with project-management or document-control systems.An interest in identifying opportunities to continuously improve civil project execution and contractor coordination.What We OfferYou will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with exposure to a range of civil, construction, infrastructure, and site projects.The role offers the opportunity to build experience across the complete project lifecycle, working closely with engineering professionals, operational teams, and external partners while strengthening your capabilities in project coordination, contractor management, quality, safety, and stakeholder collaboration.Job Location – Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)Transport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.Work: - 5 days from officeOur purpose guides the wayIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
