Job summary

Röchling Industrial in India seeks a capable finance professional to support project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. The role involves SAP FI processes, master data maintenance in SAP, and ensuring timely invoicing and accurate vendor payments.

You will collaborate with finance and project teams to analyze variances, prepare P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, and support monthly and quarterly closings with a strong emphasis on internal controls.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting, project financial management, and SAP FI processes.
• Strong analytical skills to manage and report large volumes of financial and operational data using Excel.
• Results-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving, and independent working capabilities.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills across finance, project, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting activities, including cost estimation and budget maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor expenditures against approved budgets and approve project-related purchase requests (BANFs).
• Analyze project financial performance, report budget-to-actual variances, and provide actionable insights to support cost control and project profitability.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and project performance analyses.
• Maintain and manage project master data in SAP, ensuring accurate setup and administration of new projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing for project-related products and services.
• Manage vendor invoicing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.
• Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready financial documentation in compliance with corporate standards.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and corporate governance requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders on ad-hoc analyses, process improvements, and special projects.
