Job description

Responsibilities

Drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Have knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; be aware of competitors and differentiators in the market.

Manage project accounting in SAP, ensuring consistency and reconciliation of all financial movements within the project, particularly cash. Handle invoicing for milestone and progress payments and support the Project Director for cash collection. Define revenue milestones at project inception and monitor them.

Check, control and monitor cost movements monthly using purchase order information, time bookings and manpower charts, recorded costs, and forecast (Costs to Complete) in collaboration with functional personnel.

• Cash flow management: timing and management of cash movements.
• Forecasting of cash movements.
• Foreign exchange: at least six monthly full reconciliation of all forex positions on the project (cash in/out) with the treasury function.
• Manage bonds and guarantees issued to the customer by the project (issuance, reduction, extension, cancellation).
• Taxes, insurances and duties affecting project costs/cash flows (inclusive of the onshore).

Provide claim compilation and risk assessment support. Implement project internal controls and ensure full compliance, providing support for financial audits by CAS or external auditors.

Manage and reconcile project results within the Project accounts and Balance Sheet positions related to the project (offshore & onshore).

Provide weekly and monthly reporting of Project KPIs for pacing & management review. Produce all financial project reporting, including cash flow forecast templates and sales recognition schedules.

Qualifications

Required: CA/ICWA/MBA Finance from an accredited university. Minimum 4-5 years of post‑qualification experience in Finance & Project Control, specifically in an industry finance function. Hands‑on experience in SAP environment. Strong command of Excel and other analytical software.
