Job summary

Symphoni HR Pvt Ltd. in Mumbai invites a Lead Project Controls Engineer to manage cost and schedule for major GP projects. You will collect and analyze project data, prepare reports for PM/PCM, and ensure alignment across engineering, procurement and construction phases using Primavera P6 and SAP PS.

The role requires expert scheduling, cost control and data-driven decision support, with strong collaboration across contractors and internal teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls for major GP projects.
• Strong data analysis and reporting to PM/PCM.
• Planning and scheduling with Primavera P6; cost planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls for major GP projects.
• Support site capital projects and collect data.
• Plan activities during EPC phases and coordinate with functions.
• Review contractor schedules and advise Project Management.
• Prepare project cost and schedule progress reports.
• Develop budgets and forecasts using WBS, earned value and contingency.
• Collaborate with contractors to collect and analyze data.

Role & responsibilities

• Individual would be working as a Lead Project Controls Engineer for Major GP Projects
• Individual would require to support the bunch of Site capital project
• Collect and Analyze project data and present to PM/PCM for review
• Individual would be responsible for project planning, scheduling activities using Primavera P6 software.
• Plan activities during Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases & co-ordinate with respective function to gather information, develop schedule and align with project team.
• Critically examine schedules from Contractors and provide support to Project Management team.
• Individual would be responsible to Prepare Project cost and schedule progress reports
• Individual Prepare budgets, forecasting using cost engineering principles such as work breakdown structure, earned value, contingency allocation including Cost Controls
• Collaborate with various contractor to collect and Analyse project data and present to project Manager for review
• Prepare Project cost and schedule progress reports. In-depth expertise in software like SAP PS Module, Primavera p6 etc.
