Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. The Project Controls Engineer directly involves in the Development of Execution Plans, Schedules, Cost-controls.
• 2. Participates in and oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives and short- and long-range plans; develops tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives.
• 3. Develops the Project Execution schedules and updates it on regular basis.
• 4. Develops the Progress Reports and does the variation analysis, provides mitigation plans to Senior Management.
• 5. Performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.
• 6. Should be able develop cost estimates.
• 7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• 8. He would provide support on Project Controls to Senior Project Personnel

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum of overall experience of about 10 to 12 years in Project Controls with specific familiarity in site projects. He should have handled jobs having investment in excess of Rs.10 Crores Experience with Manufacturing/ Operation/ Maintenance disciplines would be preferable. Active experience in Engineering office with full knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction cycle and the processes followed therein.

• Proven working experience in project Controls and on the various disciplines of engineering with awareness of modern practices.
• Should have handled jobs either in owner organizations or with Engineering Companies and should be familiar with execution models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Project Control Software.
• Strong people management skills.
• Knowledge of Document management and controls.
• Strong exposure to all project Controls activities and be able to get developed Project Schedules, Cost Controls, Cost Estimation, Progress Reporting for ll phases of the project.
• Some Exposure to ERP systems.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors/Contractors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
