Job summary

Bharat Digital in Bengaluru is looking for a passionate IT Support professional to enhance the use of educational technology in classrooms. The role involves deploying technology in schools, managing ICT procurement, and providing training for teachers and institutions.

Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science and have relevant skills and experience. Additional skills in Linux, hardware maintenance, and communication are essential. The position may require occasional travel within Karnataka and India.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, EdTech or NGO tech roles preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Karnataka and India.

1. Deploy & support technology in schools, teacher education & community learning programs

4. Support FOSS tools, digital content workflows & organisational platforms (Moodle, WordPress, etc.)
5. Coordinate with vendors & travel to schools and partner institutions

Requirements

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. / BCA / BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Computer Science or any graduate with relevant skills
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, EdTech or NGO tech roles preferred

Skills required:

• Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) & FOSS ecosystems
• Hardware, networking & system troubleshooting
• Good communication & coordination skills
• Fluency in English and Kannada is required; basic Hindi is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Karnataka and India
