Job summary

Kalpataru Limited is seeking an Architect to manage and coordinate architectural activities at the project site in Mumbai. You will ensure execution aligns with approved designs, drawings, specifications, and quality standards while meeting timelines and statutory requirements.

The role requires strong site execution experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve interface issues and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• B.Arch. degree from a recognized institution.
• Strong experience in site execution and architectural coordination.
• Good knowledge of construction detailing, materials, finishes and building services coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, MS Office and relevant architectural software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the architectural lead at the project site and coordinate with the project/construction team.
• Review and monitor execution as per approved architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and site engineers for architectural requirements.
• Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve architectural/design-related issues arising during construction.
• Raise and coordinate RFIs, design clarifications, drawing revisions, and site instructions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, detailing, finishes, and workmanship meet approved standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, faade, landscape, interiors, and other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Monitor architectural activities against project schedules and key milestones.
• Review contractor work and highlight deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the design team for timely closure of site-related design issues.
• Support material selection, technical evaluations, and approval processes.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and site observations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, project standards, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on architectural progress and critical issues.
