Job summary

Bentel Associates International (Pty) Ltd in Mumbai seeks a Qualified Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use projects. You will design and develop drawings, coordinating with vendors, consultants, site teams and PMC.

The role covers all phases from brief to working drawings, ensuring standards, codes and regulations are met, and you will lead a small team to deliver high-quality designs on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) with 5–10 years of experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp and MS Office.
• Experience with architectural consultancy firms for Architects or Project Architects.
• Experience in commercial buildings, shopping centres and hospitality/healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Take briefs to identify clients' needs and prepare feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Develop ideas aligned with client needs, building usage and environmental impact.
• Coordinate with 3D team for development and visuals; prepare material boards.
• Prepare drawings from start to finish ensuring high-quality schematic and working drawings.
• Ensure work complies with standards, codes and regulations; work with a team to deliver on time.

Job description

We are looking for a Qualified Architect with 5 to 10 yrs. of experience in Commercial and mixed use projects.He / She should have ability to perform all phases of architectural work including, designing and developing drawing as per the concluded design. This role involves coordination with vendors, Consultants, site and PMC.

1. Design Development

• Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals in the guidance of Design manager
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact in line with Architectural trend and advancement.
• Coordination with 3d teamfor developmentbuilding aesthetics
• Select the materials as per the client requirement/liking and the project theme and prepare the material board for presentation
• Involve in preparation of drawing from start to finish of the project ensuring high quality details for Schematic and working drawing stage in the guidance ofProject Lead.
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
• Work With team of 2 to3 Architects/ Technician for achieving the deliverableson time

3.Consultant and Vendor coordination

• Coordination with structural and service consultant for design development and execution
• Coordinate with various vendors for material selection and exploring new material available in market.

4Client and Site coordination

• Coordination with project managers to achieve therequired design deliverables in line with site requirement
• . Make on periodic site visits to check on project status and report on project.

Job Specification :

• 5 yrs. Bachelor degree in Architecture( B. Arch OR Equivalent ).
• Fluency in AutoCAD , Google Sketch up , MS Office.
• 5 - 10 yrs. of experience with and Architectural consultancy firm for Architects, Project Architects
• Work experience in commercial buildings, shopping centres and Hospitality/ health care projects
