Job summary

LR Infrastructure Pvt Ltd in Chennai is seeking a Project Architect to lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Arch degree and have 2–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Tamil and English are mandatory; knowledge of Hindi is a plus. WFH is not available; Chennai-based candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Arch degree mandatory.
• 2-3 years of experience in Architecture and Interior field required.

Responsibilities

• Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design.
• Prepare the “brief” to identify clients’ needs from the initial client meetings with senior architects.
• Put together feasibility reports and design proposals keeping in mind client needs, building usage, and environmental impact under guidance of the Senior Architect.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to prepare an estimate.
• Produce detailed blueprints for approval and construction phase after client approval.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants regarding materials and finishes required for the project and obtain samples.
• Compile project specifications and obtain client approval with all specifications and samples.
• Monitor budget and timelines to keep project on track.
• Conduct on-site visits and report progress to the Senior Architect after each visit.
• Ensure on-site work adheres to standards, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with construction professionals and consultants.
• Follow architectural trends and research products and materials as needed.
• Report project status daily to the Senior Architect.

We are hiring a Project Architect to join our young team of Architects at our Design firm " K Entwurf"

We are looking for a passionate Architect with the motivation to learn.

To perform all phases of architectural and interior works, including planning, designing, detail drawings, and overseeing the construction phase through site visits.

You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, and Interior projects from

concept design to the detail design stage till completion. So, the candidate should be ready to handle projects independently.

Freelancing experience will not be considered work experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design
• Prepare the “brief” to identify clients’ needs from the Initial client meetings with the Senior Architects.
• Put together feasibility reports and design proposals and create a scheme keeping in mind the client’s needs, building’s usage, and environmental impact under the guidance of the Senior Architect.
• Coordinate with our Engineering team to prepare an estimate.
• After the client’s approval produce detailed blueprints for approval and the construction phase.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants regarding the materials and finishes required for the project and get samples.
• Compile project specifications and get approval from a client with all specifications and samples.
• Keep checking if the project is within budget and timelines.
• Make on-site visits to check on project status and produce reports on the project to the Senior Architect after every visit.
• Ensure that all works are carried out on-site to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations, and as per our design during the site visits.
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals and consultants.
• Follow architectural trends and advancements and research products and materials when required.
• Report the progress of each project to the Senior Architect daily.

Educational Qualification:

A B.Arch-Architecture degree is mandatory. 2-3 years of experience in the Architecture and Interior field is required.

Software skills:

Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit, Sketchup, Vray, Photoshop & MS Office. Knowing Illustrator and Indesign will be added value.

Languages:

Tamil & English are mandatory, Knowing Hindi will be added value.

Salary:

2.5 - 3 lakhs CTC per annum.

Chennai (prefer Chennai candidates or candidates ready to locate to Chennai) as WFH is not available.
