Job summary

Persistent is looking for a Programmer Dev to design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience and a strong understanding of serverless architectures and REST APIs.

Qualifications

About Position

• Role: Programmer Dev

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud native applications using AWS services
• Build and enhance applications leveraging Amazon Bedrock for GenAI use cases
• Develop and integrate backend services and REST APIs
• Work with serverless and microservices architectures
• Follow AWS Well Architected Framework principles for scalability, security, and performance
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross functional teams
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation guidelines

  Expertise You’ll Bring

  • Hands on experience with AWS services, including:
  • AWS Lambda
  • Amazon S3
  • DynamoDB and/or RDS
  • API Gateway
  • IAM
  • Practical experience in Amazon Bedrock and AI enabled application development
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and logging
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • AWS Certified Developer Associate
  • AWS Certified AI Practitioner
  • Experience with GenAI use cases and prompt engineering
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform
  • Knowledge of event driven architectures
  • Additional AWS certifications
