Job summary

Persistent Systems is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot microservices and modern frontend frameworks. You will work across Azure cloud services, implement CI/CD pipelines, and containerize with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

The role emphasizes AI-powered solutions, RAG architectures, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on Java/Spring Boot/Microservices development experience.
• Front-end experience with ReactJS or AngularJS.
• Strong REST API development and distributed systems knowledge.
• Solid SQL database design, tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native patterns.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Familiarity with AI/LLMs and RAG patterns is a plus.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot Microservices, modern front-end frameworks, and Azure cloud services. You will drive the adoption of DevOps practices, containerization, AI-powered solutions, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures to deliver innovative business solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Development.
• Strong experience in ReactJS and/or AngularJS for front-end application development.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases, database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with API gateways, service discovery, monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Llama, or similar platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG-based applications using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI application architecture, and model integration patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in Agile environments.
