Job summary

Quest Global seeks a senior program manager for software engineering and program management in the semiconductor equipment domain. You will lead Offshore Development Centers, manage distributed teams, and drive strategic delivery across projects.

The role requires leadership, stakeholder negotiation, and expertise in SECS/GEM, GEM300, and modern delivery methodologies with budgeting, forecasting, and governance experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering/program management experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience in setting up and scaling Offshore Development Centers (ODCs).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment software, factory automation, and workflows.
• Experience with SECS/GEM, GEM300, equipment integration, and factory automation.
• Experience managing multiple projects with distributed teams.
• Proficient in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Work Experience

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering/program management, with significant experience in the Semiconductor Equipment domain.
• Proven experience in setting up and scaling Offshore Development Centers (ODCs).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment software, factory automation, and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with SECS/GEM, GEM300 (E30, E37, E39, E40, E84, E87, E90, etc.), equipment integration, and factory automation.
• Experience managing multiple projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and program governance.
• Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and grow engineering teams.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar technologies.
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), DevOps, CI/CD.
• SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Kafka, REST APIs, gRPC, microservices.
• Experience with equipment communication protocols and industrial automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
