Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead and manage end-to-end healthcare projects, ensuring timely execution, operational excellence, quality service delivery, and achievement of project objectives and KPIs. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with clients and government stakeholders, monitoring project performance, and driving continuous improvement across healthcare programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of healthcare projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of project objectives.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets in line with organizational and donor requirements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including doctors, paramedics, lab technicians, field staff, and community health workers.
- Monitor project performance through MIS reports, KPIs, performance reviews, field visits, and regular project assessments.
- Identify operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely corrective actions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government departments, healthcare providers, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project reviews with senior management and prepare project reports, dashboards, and performance updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead staff training, capacity building, and team development initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and guidelines issued by relevant health authorities.
- Manage project budgets effectively and ensure cost optimization and efficient utilization of resources.
- Coordinate and oversee procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and other project requirements.
- Drive process improvement, innovation, and operational excellence to enhance healthcare service delivery and project outcomes.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between field teams, project teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities are aligned with organizational objectives, contractual commitments, and agreed KPIs.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Hospital Management, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in healthcare/public health program or project management.
- Experience managing healthcare projects in rural, remote, underserved, or community-based environments will be preferred.
- Experience working with government agencies, healthcare organizations, NGOs, corporate clients, or donor-funded projects will be an added advantage.
Language Requirements
Candidate should be able to Speak, Read, and Write in:
- English
- Hindi
- Regional Language (Tamil preferred)
