Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced software/program management leader to establish and scale an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Bengaluru. You will define governance, deliverables, and KPIs while building cross-functional teams across software architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts.

You will drive end-to-end program execution, manage stakeholder reviews, and lead hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering/program management.
• Experience establishing and scaling Offshore Development Centers (ODCs).
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment software, factory automation, and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with SECS/GEM, GEM300 (E30, E37, E39, E40, E84, E87, E90, etc.), equipment integration, and factory automation.
• Experience managing multiple projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and program governance.
• Strong leadership with the ability to mentor and grow engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and scale an Offshore Development Center (ODC) from the ground up.

Work Experience-

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering/program management, with significant experience in the Semiconductor Equipment domain.
• Proven experience in setting up and scaling Offshore Development Centers (ODCs).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment software, factory automation, and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with SECS/GEM, GEM300 (E30, E37, E39, E40, E84, E87, E90, etc.), equipment integration, and factory automation.
• Experience managing multiple projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.

• Experience with equipment communication protocols and industrial automation.

Preferred Qualifications-

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are desirable.
