Job summary

RGBSI in Bengaluru is seeking a Program Manager for Excess Inventory Management to drive reduction initiatives across supply chain, engineering and manufacturing.

You will identify excess inventory opportunities, lead cross-functional execution, and monitor progress via KPI dashboards.

The role requires strong problem solving, root-cause analysis, and experience with SAP and engineering systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial/production engineering with 5+ years’ experience in program management in semiconductor equipment or capital equipment industries; hands-on SAP & engineering systems experience.
• Strong problem solving with emphasis on prevention and proactive improvements.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Actions for business process improvements; basic problem solving methodology.

Responsibilities

• Identify excess inventory reduction opportunities and work with cross functional teams to execute the same.
• Interface with stakeholders such as Supply chain, Inventory management, Product management, Order Fulfillment, Engineering change management, Logistics and Spares planning.
• Perform Root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain program progress through KPI updates, progress updates & dashboard updates.
• Represent Inventory Management team in cross functional meetings with supply chain, product management, process & engineering teams, spares management, and manufacturing management.

Job Title Program Manager (Excess Inventory Management )

This role supports the Global Excess Inventory Program by driving excess inventory reduction initiatives. The focus is on identifying, reducing, and preventing excess and obsolete inventory through structured execution, root cause analysis, and KPI-driven governance across supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify excess inventory reduction opportunities and work with cross functional teams to execute the same.
• Interface with various stakeholders such as Supply chain, Inventory management, Product management, Orde Fulfillment, Engineering change management, Logistics and Spares planning
• Perform Root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Maintain program progress through KPI’s update, Progress updates & dashboard updates
• Represent Inventory Management team in cross functional meetings (Supply chain, Product Management, Process & Engineering teams, spares management, manufacturing management).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / in mechanical/ industrial/ production engineering with 5+ years of experience in program management function in Semiconductor Equipment or other Capital equipment industry with hands on experience on SAP & engineering system.

Mandatory Skills and experience required to perform the job:

• Prior experience in Operations/Product Management/Technical Program management or Quality & Reliability function in semiconductor industry or equivalent
• Strong problem solving experience with emphasis on prevention
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Actions for business process improvements
• Experience in basic problem solving methodology

Desirable Skills:

• Working knowledge of MRP , Engineering change Management.
• Hands on experience in Advanced excel & making presentations
• Able to work in cross functional teams across various time zones in matrix environment.
• Familiarity with tools will be an added advantage
• Experience in config engineering or engineering change management process is desirable
