Job summary

Nutanix in Pune seeks an Analyst-Inventory to develop analyses and reports across Inventory and SCM domains, driving digitalisation and automation within the Inventory management & Analytics team in GSC COE. The role supports the Global Materials team and Eaton sites for process improvement in materials management.

The position collaborates with buyers and planners to drive inventory reduction, sets up ABC/XYZ modelling, designs Power BI reports, and standardises reporting to support CI

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent with focus on operations or supply chain.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Digitalisation & Inventory Management.

Job description

What you’ll do:

• The primary function of the Analyst-Inventory role is to work on developing various Analysis & reports across Inventory and SCM domains.


• The role also works on driving digitalisation / Automation initiatives within Inventory management & Analytics team in GSC COE


• This individual will support the Global Materials team and Eaton sites for business process improvement and projects in the area of materials management.


• Should be able to drive Inventory reduction projects by working closely with buyers / Planners in GSC COE & business by effectively utilising Inventory profile, Water tank, Swapping tool & other advanced Inventory modelling & Analytics tools.


• Should be able to set up process & define criterias around modelling Inventory with Entitlement , Segmentation, Assortment & Calssification (ABC/XYZ) approaches


• Design & develop the Power BI reports & Auomate existing excel based reports


• Work Collaboratively with team members within Inventory Management & Analytics team & support productivity improvement & digitalisation initiatives across the team


• Scheduled reporting & Analytics across ROP, SS , Past dues & On time delivery reportings


• Focus on spotting weaknesses in today's material management business processes & devlop analysis across supply chain area's to support improvement


• Standardization of existing reports & support productivity improvmemet / CI initiatives in GSC COE / business


• Strong understanding of Advanced Power BI with DAX modeliing.


• Exposure to advanced Analytics tools like Python, R & understanding cloud systems Azure / Cloudera will be an added advantage


• Proposed mitigation plans in terms of parts that need to be in MRP, Kanban & VMI to meet inventory turns targets.


• Preparation of Annual Inventory assortments using decision Tree Model.


• Calculation of Order line coverage,Safety Stock/ROP, DOH & has solid knowledge around KPI’s related to inventory


• Prepare data analysis of inventory aging and type (high runner/slow movers) to assist decisions on excess and obsolete items for sell-off activities.


• Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.


• Good Knowledge of SAP, P2P Transactions, Business Intelligence tools (OBIEE) ,Mfg pro, Clickview or any other standard ERP systems / tools

Qualifications:

Graduate /Post Graduate especially MBA (Operations) with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience related to Supply Chain Analytics, Digitalisation & Inventory Management

• Proficient understanding of Inventory Mgt, MRP, demand / supply challenges.


• Preferred exposure into Power BI, SQL and PowerBI query building.


• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations.


• Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred Mfg Pro, Oracle, SAP MM)


• Project Management, Collaboration & presentation skills.
