Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Junior Program Manager to support planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects within a program in the Global Sales and Application Support unit. You will work with senior program managers, cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field.
• Overall 4+ years experience in related field.
• Knowledge of lean tools and leading continuous improvement activities.
• Strong documentation skills and data tracking ability.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of multiple operational projects from intake to closure.
• Build and maintain program plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting.
• Track milestones, coordinate stakeholders, leaders, SMEs and ensure actions are closed on time.
• Track program KPIs and present insights to stakeholders (quality, delivery, compliance, adoption).
• Build simple reporting mechanisms (Excel/SharePoint/Power BI).
• Identify bottlenecks and propose data-backed improvements.
• Communicate changes through release notes, announcements, FAQ updates, and training coordination.
• Support change management and demonstrate performance as a change agent
• Analyze data and provide information for management decisions
• Coordinate RCA process and maintain non-conforming database
• Establish and improve Lean Culture metrics for continuous improvement

The Junior Program Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within a program. This role works closely with senior program managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. It is an excellent role for individuals looking to grow into a full program or project management career.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of multiple operational from intake to closure.
• Build and maintain program plans, timelines, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reporting.
• Track milestones and follow-ups, coordinate stakeholders, leaders, SMEs and ensure actions are closed on time.
• Track program KPIs and present insights to stakeholders (quality, delivery, compliance, adoption).
• Build simple, reliable reporting mechanisms (Excel/SharePoint lists/Power BI where available).
• Identify bottlenecks and propose data-backed improvements.
• Communicate changes effectively through release notes, announcements, FAQ updates, and training coordination.
• Support change management & Demonstrated performance as a change agent
• Analyze data and provide information for management team to make decisions
• Coordinate RCA process and be responsible for non-conforming database maintenance.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field.
• Overall 4+ years with minimum 4 years’ experience in related field
• Knowledge of lean tools and leading continuous improvement activities
• PMP, Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification mandatory, Six Sigma Black belt Certification desirable
• Strong documentation skills: ability to write clear SOPs, job aids, and communication updates.
• Comfort with data tracking and analysis .
• Strong stakeholder management: follow-ups, meeting facilitation, and structured communication
• Good English communication skills
