Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Hughes IFC programs with airline customers to deliver a seamless passenger experience.
• Act as the program champion to convert deployments into long-term customer loyalty and expanded market share.
• Manage relationships with airline customers and major accounts throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Foster strong customer relationships with clear communication, prompt issue resolution and regular check-ins.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries to customers.
• Collaborate with MRO and customer organizations to ensure smooth installation of delivered products.
• Lead program review meetings and coordination with customers and partners.
• Support business development efforts across Indian commercial aviation markets and help evaluate opportunities based on value and feasibility.
• Work with Marketing on campaigns, regional trade shows, conferences, collateral, and social media; maintain relations with DGCA and regulatory agencies for approvals.

Job Purpose

The role incumbent will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end program management and successful delivery of Hughes' In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) program for Airline in India. The position will ensure that all contractual commitments, program milestones, technical deliverables and service readiness requirements are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered in line with customer expectations. The incumbent will act as the primary program coordination interface for Airline and work closely with Hughes' global and India-based cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Aviation Product, Operations, Regulatory, Commercial and Customer Support, as well as key technology and integration partners. The role will be responsible for managing the overall program schedule, tracking key dependencies and deliverables, identifying and mitigating program risks, driving closure of open actions, and establishing effective program governance and reporting with Airline and internal Hughes stakeholders. In addition to the active Airline program, the incumbent may support other strategic aviation customer programs and contribute to the growth of Hughes' Aviation business across commercial, government and defence aviation markets.

Job Responsibilities

1.Project Management & Execution

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Hughes cutting-edge in-flight connectivity (IFC) programs, bridging our satellite innovations with top airline customers to deliver seamless, world-class passenger experience.
• Act as the program champion for Hughes aero business, transforming successful in-flight connectivity deployments into long-term customer loyalty and expand market share.
• Manage relationship with airline customers and major accounts throughout the contract lifecycle
• Foster strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service through clear communication, prompt issue resolution, and regular check-ins
• Work with supply chain to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries to customers.
• Work with MRO and customer organizations to ensure smooth installation of delivered products
• Lead program review meeting, coordination meeting with customers and partners
• Participate in regular status reviews with Hughes Senior Management and customer to ensure successful implementation and timely resolution of service issues.

2.Business Development & Strategy

• Support business development efforts across Indian commercial aviation markets.
• Create and manage a process to evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.

3.Marketing & Stakeholder Management

• Work with Marketing on campaigns, regional trade shows (e.g., Aero India, DefExpo), conferences, collateral, and social media.
• Maintain strong relationships with DGCA and other regulatory agencies for any approval needed.
