Role Level: Manager

Job Purpose

• Ownership of aircraft configuration programs across line‑fit aircraft or retrofit programs within the team.
• Support analysis, design, and program management activities required for aircraft configuration.
• Provide high quality materials, inputs, and analysis—including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models—to aid senior management decision making.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with Air India teams across functions to frame business problems, perform analysis, design visualizations of results, and develop analytical models to meet strategic and commercial objectives.
• Proactively conduct data research and analysis to develop solutions and insights supporting the relevant programs.
• Prepare and review reports as directed by reporting managers.
• Assist with the preparation of business presentations, budgets, etc., and present to department heads and to CCO.
• Collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data using standard processes and tools to surface and support solutions.
• Raise risks and issues to project management for timely resolution.
• Research innovation and trends related to business, industry, and economy to enhance strategic objectives.
• Attend periodic governance reviews with suppliers/internal teams, lead discussions, and provide inputs to support the business.
• Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Minimum education: Master’s, MBA, PGDM, PGP, or PG degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an analyst supporting strategic and/or program management roles. Desired 5+ years. Prior aviation sector experience is an advantage.
