Job summary

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end product development programs for display products, covering hardware and embedded software development. This role involves managing cross-functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Service to ensure successful product development and timely market release.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in hardware and software product development, New Product Introduction (NPI), OEM and vendor management, BOM management, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development programs, from initiation, planning, and execution through product launch and handover to Manufacturing and Service teams.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, critical paths, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate with R&D teams on hardware design, firmware development, software releases, prototype builds, and product integration.
• Manage dependencies between hardware, embedded software, and firmware development activities.
• Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to manage BOMs, component sourcing, vendor selection, pricing, lead times, and material availability.
• Monitor product development costs, project schedules, and quality targets to ensure successful program delivery.
• Coordinate with OEM partners, contract manufacturers, and external vendors to ensure production readiness, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Drive NPI activities, including prototype development, pilot builds, product validation, and transition to mass production.
• Collaborate with Quality and Validation teams on system testing, defect tracking, FMEA, design reviews, and product compliance.
• Ensure product release readiness by coordinating documentation, installation guides, service training, spare parts, and support processes.
• Identify project risks, delays, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans; and elevate critical issues to senior management.
• Conduct regular project reviews and update leadership on program progress, milestones, risks, budgets, and deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in Product Development or Program Management, including at least 5 years managing integrated hardware and software product development programs.
• Strong experience in hardware product development, electronics, display products, or embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience in NPI, including prototype development, pilot production, and mass manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BOM management, PLM, Stage-Gate processes, Engineering Change Management, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Experience in OEM and vendor management, contract manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management.
• Working knowledge of embedded software, firmware integration, software release management, and Agile or hybrid project delivery.
• Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, cost control, risk management, and critical path tracking.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Manufacturing, and Service.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent Program Management certification.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and managing production ramp-up to volume manufacturing.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and MS Project.
