Senior Program Manager SOC/ASIC
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager Semiconductor Design Services to lead complex ASIC/SoC programs from project kickoff through tape-out and GDSII handoff. The role is responsible for delivering programs to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets while driving strong cross-functional coordination, customer alignment, and program governance.
This position requires strong experience in fixed-price or milestone-based engagements, with the ability to manage evolving requirements through structured scope and change control while ensuring execution remains aligned to the approved Statement of Work (SoW).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end semiconductor design programs from planning through tape-out and post-silicon support.
- Define and manage scope, milestones, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, and execution plans.
- Coordinate across RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, STA, signoff, package, validation, and product engineering teams.
- Track program performance across schedule, cost, quality, risks, and resource utilization.Maintain project baseline and ensure delivery aligns with approved scope, milestones, and commercial commitments.
- Identify requirement changes, scope creep, and dependency risks early; drive formal change request evaluation and closure.
- Act as the primary interface for customers, internal leadership, and external partners.
- Communicate program status, risks, assumptions, and change impacts clearly and proactively.
- Support resource planning, effort tracking, commercial reviews, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate post-tape-out support, issue tracking, and design change governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
- 15+ years of semiconductor program/project management experience in ASIC/SoC/VLSI development.
- Proven experience managing programs from RTL to GDSII/tape-out.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows including RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, STA, and signoff.
- Experience in scope management, change request handling, customer governance, and fixed-price/milestone-based delivery models.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
