Qualifications

• Strong interface between customer and internal management; able to drive change.
• Proven ability to lead turnkey ASIC and/or design services projects.

Semiconductor Program Manager – SoC / ASIC Delivery | Bangalore or Hyderabad

We are seeking an experienced Semiconductor Program Manager to lead end-to-end SoC/ASIC development programs from specification to silicon delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor design and manufacturing flows, proven expertise in managing turnkey ASIC or design services programs, and the ability to drive cross-functional global teams under aggressive timelines.

This role will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) between customers, internal engineering teams, foundries, EDA vendors, and IP suppliers, ensuring seamless execution, effective communication, timely issue resolution, and successful silicon delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end semiconductor program execution from specification to silicon delivery.
• Ensure effective communication, establish project governance and reporting, tracking and review mechanisms, evolve early risk assessment and mitigation plans, budget management, and drive change requests between internal and external teams.
• Ensure on-time availability and maintenance of IP licenses, EDA vendor collaboration, smooth engagement with Foundries for TO, MPW’s and drive logistics for sample release and production.
• Implement project tracking and collaboration using smart project tracking tools and methodolodgies (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc).

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

• 12+ years of total semiconductor experience, including at least 5+ years managing SoC development programs(spec-to-silicon).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor end to end design flows, manufacturing, package and test flows, handled logistics and coordination of materials between different teams and finally to the customer.
• Worked in similar capacity delivering design services and/or turnkey SOC programs.
• Experience coordinating directly or with teams engaged with foundries, EDA vendors, and IP suppliers.
• SPOC to drive changes, strong interface between customer and internal management to ensure timely issue resolution and also to pave the way for future engagements.

Program Management and Interpersonal Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Strong leader with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Technically able to coordinate and drive ASIC turnkey and/or design services projects reading the customer’s pulse.
• Expertise in using Project Management tools, methodologies, and tracking mechanisms
• Worked in a Matrixed organisation and has delivered multiple projects in ASIC turnkey and/or design services model.
• Go-getter and team builder
• Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management experience in a global environment.
• Able to work under aggressive customer expectations and schedules while maintaining relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
• Out of the box thinker able to manage cross functional and global teams.
