Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager in Bengaluru to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to delivery, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications across time zones and offices.

You will drive process improvements, manage escalations end-to-end, and partner with compliance, finance, and regional teams to optimize timelines while delivering high-impact operational results for Google Cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of customer-facing experience driving technical implementations or transformation programs.
• Experience supporting customers in cloud operations, technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for high-priority escalations from intake to execution and closure.
• Analyze and quantify impact of required changes to improve performance and processes.
• Ensure escalations are triaged, tracked, investigated, and resolved effectively.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, payroll, and regional strategy to optimize case resolution timelines.
• Influence and build relationships with cross-functional partners and vendor contacts.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
• Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (e.g., launch or capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in sales operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
• Proficient in executing strategic initiatives and utilizing sales enablement platforms, with a focus on adopting and deploying AI-powered solutions to streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Exceptional project and stakeholder management, with a demonstrated ability to partner seamlessly with external entities to successfully scale operational systems.
• Leveraging direct SQL and data analytics expertise to uncover and troubleshoot intricate data quality concerns, uphold data integrity.

• Deliver operational performance across all escalation paths and team members, ensure that all escalations are triaged, tracked, investigated, and resolved appropriately.
• Partner with compliance, finance, payroll, and regional strategy and operations to optimize timelines of case resolution and demonstrate a record in process optimization.
• Influence and communicate to build relationships with cross-functional partners. Work directly with vendor partners.
