Job summary

Eaton Bengaluru is seeking a Site Program Manager to lead Integrated Project Teams and drive successful project execution through the PROLaunch framework. You will oversee NPI and STP initiatives, manage resources, and ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality targets.

You will coordinate with global teams, assess risks, and maintain stakeholder communications, balancing scope with customer expectations while delivering profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • BE/BTech required; MBA an added advantage.
  • 8-10 years in Project/Program Management.
  • Experience of managing manufacturing projects across global teams is essential.

  • Provide monthly program updates and publish metrics and reports.
  • Develop and execute new business proposals and overall program plan.

Job description

What You’ll Do

The Bangalore Site Program Manager will be responsible for leading Integrated Project Teams to successfully execute projects according to the Eaton PROLaunch Process through effective guidance, product development, customer satisfaction, efficient resource allocation, and reliable reporting to leadership. This includes Transitions Projects (STP), New Product Introductions (NPI), and/or critical business projects and their budget allocations.

  • Manages the Profit and Loss of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Standard Transition Projects (STP). Responsibility, Authority and Accountability for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, budget, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Executes Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership across all projects. Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback on performance indicators.
  • Maintains the Master Plan of assigned Projects and Schedules. Forecasts, provides, and maintains the program milestone attainment metrics with Integrated Program Schedule on a regular basis. Provides critical path analysis, schedule change impact statements, and schedule recovery planning.
  • Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment.
  • Facilitates the implementation of program management processes at the site.
  • Ensures standard program management processes are utilized and provides adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating Program Management reviews, preparing and publishing metrics and reports.
  • Manages effective customer communications. Provides overall Program interface with the customer. Improves organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communicates and manages customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
  • Effectively manages program risks. Leads IPT teams to define project risks and proactively identify risk mitigation actions. Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a completely integrated entity.
  • Manages customer contract, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization. Establishes and negotiates pricing strategies by system and/or product, market, and by customer. Develops contract negotiation strategies and ensures effective change management processes are utilized.
  • Provides monthly program updates of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional and group levels.
  • Plays a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
Qualifications
  • B.E/B.Tech; MBA an added advantage.
  • 8-10 years in Project/Program Management. Experience of managing manufacturing projects across global teams is essential.
Skills
  • PMP, ProLaunch or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills; strong leadership skills; proficient in English.
