Job summary

Iris Software Technologies, Mumbai-based leader in RegTech and DataTech, seeks a Director – CFO Advisory / Finance Transformation to lead a team of functional consultants for IRIS CARBON. You will bridge deep finance knowledge with platform fluency, drive end-to-end implementation, and influence product and customer success for major enterprise clients.

Own onboarding, run domain input sessions, shape demos for CFOs, and collaborate with Partnerships and Sales to unlock value and expansion

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant designation preferred for CFO advisory focus.
• MBA in Finance is advantageous.
• 18+ years of experience in finance transformation or CFO‑office tech.
• Techno‑functional profile with system configuration and CFO‑level modelling.
• Experience mentoring functional/consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end onboarding for enterprise clients and design process maps.

IRIS CARBON, one of the key product lines within the RegTech segment, is a purpose‑built platform that helps organisations navigate the complexity of enterprise reporting including Financial and Sustainability reporting. We are looking for a Director – CFO Advisory / Finance Transformation who speaks the language of the CFO office, leads a team of functional consultants, and drives outcomes across implementation, product, customer success, pre‑sales, and partnerships. You will be the senior domain authority who bridges deep finance knowledge with platform fluency.

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of functional consultants. Set the quality bar for implementation delivery, client engagement, and domain expertise across the team. Build a culture of ownership and continuous learning within the IRIS CARBON functional practice.

Implementation & Onboarding

Own end‑to‑end onboarding for enterprise clients. Design process maps, configure reporting templates, and guide finance teams through adoption of IRIS CARBON for statutory, regulatory, and sustainability disclosures. Be the functional anchor who ensures go‑lives are smooth and value is realised early.

Product Advisory & Domain Input

Contribute domain‑driven insights to the product team. Represent finance practitioner perspectives in feature prioritisation, UAT, and regulatory change assessments. Act as the internal voice of the CFO office ensuring the product roadmap stays grounded in real‑world finance workflows.

Customer Success & Account Growth

Be the senior domain‑aware face for key accounts post go‑live. Resolve escalated functional queries, drive platform adoption, and proactively surface expansion and upsell opportunities grounded in each client’s reporting context and maturity.

Lead discovery conversations and solution demos with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance VPs. Architect compelling demo flows and sales pitches tailored to the CFO office. Bring domain credibility to key stages of the deal cycle.

Partnerships & Alliances Enablement

Work alongside the Partnerships & Alliances team to enable partner‑led implementations and co‑sell motions. Equip consulting partners, system integrators, and channel alliances with the functional depth needed to represent IRIS CARBON credibly to their finance clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Chartered Accountant (CA) — strongly preferred
• MBA in Finance — added advantage
• 18+ years of experience in finance transformation, CFO‑office technology, or financial close and disclosure
• Techno‑functional profile who is equally comfortable in system configuration, Excel‑based modelling, and a CFO boardroom
• Prior experience managing or mentoring functional / consulting teams

DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE

• Financial close, consolidation & statutory reporting cycles
• Regulatory disclosures — US GAAP, IFRS, BRSR / ESG reporting
• CFO tech stack — ERPs, CPM tools, disclosure management platforms
• Understanding of audit, compliance, and board‑level reporting cadences

SKILLS & MINDSET

• Ability to architect demos and pitches for senior finance audiences (CFO, Controller, Finance VP)
• Strong executive communication — simplify complexity, not add to it
• People leadership — ability to build, guide, and develop a functional consulting team
• Commercial instinct to identify and convert client challenges into business opportunities
• High ownership, collaborative across functions, thrives in a lean and fast‑moving environment

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• Functional / solution consultant at a finance SaaS or RegTech firm, with team leadership experience
• Finance transformation consultant at a Big 4 or boutique advisory with a move into product or SaaS
• Techno‑functional practitioner with deep exposure to CFO‑office digitisation programs
