This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on incident prevention and resolution within a critical financial services environment.Job Responsibilities*** Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Production Support Quality Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.* Oversee the development and implementation of robust testing strategies for production support, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response validation.* Drive the analysis of production incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures and automated solutions to minimize recurrence.* Collaborate closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and critical business processes.* Develop and maintain comprehensive quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track the health, performance, and reliability of production systems.* Champion best practices in production support, including incident management, problem management, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.* Participate in on-call rotation and critical incident management as needed, providing leadership and technical guidance during high-priority events.* Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance production support capabilities, automation, and efficiency.* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies relevant to financial services production environments.* Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth and development of team members.Job Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.* 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Production Support, or a related technical role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.* Proven experience working in a financial services or other highly regulated industry.* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, performance, resilience).* Expertise in production monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management systems.* Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, SQL).* Solid experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and ability to write complex queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strong attention to detail.* Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.LPL Global Business Services, LLP - PRIVACY POLICY
