Job Description

Our client is seeking a seasoned Production Support Lead to oversee the stability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical portfolio of critical banking applications. Current role should ensure smooth operations of all applications and resolved issues faced by end user in compliance with policies and procedures. It includes smooth execution of activities for settlement systems, backup/recovery, and production support for critical and non-critical systems. Application related governance and compliance to be taken care as a part of the objective. Strong capabilities to create, review and implement the practice of process and documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Support Lead should have:

• Portfolio Oversight: Ensure 24/7 availability and 99.99% up-time for critical systems including payment, Core banking, internal systems, and others.
• Major Incident Management: Act as the ultimate point of contact. Lead the calls, issue, and ensure rapid service restorations
• Strategic Transformation: Drive the automation road-map to reduce "toil". Implement new technologies and capabilities to minimise manual intervention.
• Stakeholder Management: Provide regular health reports and post-mortem briefing to leadership. Manage the relationship with vendors and IT infra partners.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure all applications adhere to strict banking regulation and internal IT policies. Should be aware about the various compliance framework.
• Team Leadership: Mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

Functional & Technical Skills Required

• Applications: Finacle, CTS, NACH, NEFT, RTGS, SFMS, CBS, Treasury, Trade, Trading Platform etc.
• Environment: Cloud, Virtualisation, On-Prem Infra, Windows, Unix
• Data and Middleware: Strong command on SQL / Oracle, MQ
• Monitoring & Observability: Advanced proficiency in Grafana, Kibana, ELK, Dynatrace etc.
• Automation: Scripting Mastery in Python, Shell Script etc along with the tool experience if any.
• ITIL/ITSM Mastery: Knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem management framework.
• Vendor Management: Have managed the various vendors for various services.
