Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore North, India is seeking a skilled assembly supervisor to assign tasks, plan manpower and machines, and ensure daily reporting and OTS target achievement.

You will coordinate training for operators, maintain 5S on the shop floor, and drive improvements in PDI reworks and inventory accuracy, while enforcing SOP and kaizen practices.

Qualifications

• Assign jobs to operators and maintain the Daily Assembly Report.
• Schedule Assembly sequence to meet OTS targets.
• Coordinate on the job training for new and existing operators.
• Maintain 5S on the shop floor.
• Improve PDI reworks.
• Ensure proper material handling and inventory accuracy in the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in implementing SOP, Poka-yoke, Kaizen and abnormality management.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems (technical know-how of the products).
