• Verify components, dimensions, and materials before assembly.

1. Production planning and target achievement

• Execute daily and weekly assemblyplans as per the production schedule.
  
• Allocate jobs and manpower basedon priorities and available resources.
  
• Monitor actual output againstplanned targets and take corrective action for delays.
  
• Ensure assemblies are completedwithin the planned time.
  

2. Drawing and specification compliance

• Ensure assembly work follows thelatest approved drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
  
• Verify that the correctcomponents, dimensions, and materials are available before assembly.
  
• Stop and escape work whencomponents do not match approved specifications.
  
• Never permit unauthorizeddimensional or material deviations.
  

3. Quality control and process adherence

• Establish and perform appropriateintermediate quality checks during assembly.
  
• Verify critical dimensions,fitment, alignment, and workmanship at defined stages.
  
• Record inspection results andensure defects are corrected before proceeding.
  
• Coordinate with Quality andEngineering to resolve recurring assembly problems.
  

4. Material and resource coordination

• Check material availabilitybefore starting planned assembly jobs.
  
• Coordinate with Stores andPurchase regarding shortages, incorrect materials, and delayed supplies.
  
• Report material mismatches immediatelyrather than allowing them to reach later assembly stages.
  
• Ensure tools, fixtures,equipment, and work instructions are available.
  

5. Manpower and productivity

• Allocate work according toemployee skills and workload.
  
• Monitor attendance, productivity,discipline, and adherence to standard working methods.
  
• Identify training needs andimprove assembly efficiency.
  
• Minimize idle time, unnecessarymovement, and avoidable rework.
  

6. Reporting and cross-functional teamwork

• Maintain daily production, rejection,rework, and pending-job records.
  
• Report target deviations,material shortages, and quality issues promptly.
  
• Coordinate with Planning,Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Engineering.
  
• Ensure shift handovers andproduction status updates are clear and accurate.
