Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a skilled technician for assembly and testing of Computed tomography or related electromechanical systems. You will follow specific work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain device history records to meet deadlines.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical engineering with 3-4 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with SAP/ERP, and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical engineering required with 3–4 years in assembly and testing of electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly and testing of the medical devices according to work instructions.

Job description

• Responsible for assembly and testing of the medical devices according to specific work instruction (Computed tomography system)
• Active Contribution to the continuous improvement process in production
• Create and Maintain the Device History record of each system
• Plan and complete the assigned production task within the defined time to meet deadlines
• Identify and resolve the quality issues with proper root cause analysis and problem solving techniques

Job knowledge, skills and experience

• Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical engineering with 3-4 years of experience in assembly and testing of electromechanical systems.
• Experience in assembly and testing of Computed tomography or X-ray systems with basic know how of X-ray technology is preferable
• Knowledge in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Passionate to learn new products in a quick manner. Able to learn and implement change in the production line
• Analytical and practical approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrates ability to be a team player; works well with others; contributes positively to work in team environment
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines
• Familiar with Medical IEC standards, e.g: IEC-60601-1, relevant for Production is preferable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal, ability to develop outstanding relationships with all stakeholders from the entire organization.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a strong eye for detail
• Must possess strong proficiency in MS-Office tools.
