Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks a Production Planning & Inventory Controller to ensure timely availability of RM, PM and solvents to meet production schedules while upholding quality standards.

You will monitor stock levels, support MRP, coordinate with stores and procurement, maintain batch traceability in SAP/ERP, and prepare MIS reports and KPI dashboards to drive OTIF and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of pharma manufacturing, GMP, and batch documentation.
• Proficiency in SAP PP/MM or ERP; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Relevant industry experience is essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare production schedules based on forecasts and batch planning (BMR/BPR).
• Monitor RM/PM/solvent stocks and coordinate replenishment with procurement.
• Support MRP to ensure material availability for production.
• Coordinate with stores for receipt, QC release, dispensing, inventory control.
• Maintain SAP/ERP inventory records with batch traceability.
• Track expiry/shelf-life and support FEFO practices.
• Monitor production vs plan, report deviations and shortages.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for material release and GMP compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports and KPI dashboards (OTIF, inventory accuracy).
• Assist audits (FDA, WHO-GMP) with documentation.

Job Summary

Support production planning and inventory control in a GMP-regulated pharma environment, ensuring timely availability of RM, PM, and solvents to meet production schedules while maintaining quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production schedules based on sales forecasts and batch planning (BMR/BPR)
• Monitor RM/PM/solvent stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement
• Support MRP and ensure material availability for production
• Coordinate with stores for receipt, QC release, dispensing, and inventory control per SOPs
• Maintain inventory records in SAP/ERP with batch traceability
• Track expiry/shelf-life and support FEFO practices
• Monitor production vs plan; report deviations and shortages
• Coordinate with QA/QC for material release and GMP compliance
• Prepare MIS reports and KPI dashboards (OTIF, inventory accuracy)
• Support audits (FDA, WHO-GMP) with accurate documentation

Required Skills
