Job summary

Truemeds is seeking a Production & Post-Production Manager in Mumbai to drive the end-to-end process from planning through delivery. You will translate creative direction into actionable production plans, manage budgets, and oversee on-set coordination to protect video quality within budget.

You will liaise with the Creative Director, scout locations, lock crew, and coordinate post-production to ensure edits reflect feedback and timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Existing industry contacts across crew, vendors, locations, and production houses.

Job description

We're looking for a Production & Post-Production Manager who can take a locked script from

the Creative Director and be the CD’s right hand throughout the production and post

production process- from planning and budgeting, to crew and vendor negotiations, to

being on set, to final delivery of the edited video. This role sits at the intersection of

production management, vendor negotiation, and creative coordination. You'll be the person

who makes sure the creative vision survives contact with real-world budgets, timelines, and

logistics - without ever using budget as an excuse for a lesser video.

What You'll Do

• Take locked scripts from the CD and translate the creative requirements/direction into
• Break down each script into crew, equipment, location, cast, and budget requirements.
• Lock crew members and negotiate their pay/terms.
• Scout, shortlist, and negotiate shoot locations.
• If shooting in-office, identify and arrange all production requirements (space,
• Handle relevant casting coordination for shoots as needed.
• Make budget sheets
• Own and control the production budget for each shoot/project.
• Find creative, practical hacks to keep video quality high even under budget constraints - the budget should never visibly compromise the output.
• Negotiate with vendors (crew, locations, equipment, editors, etc.) to get the best quality within the budget sanctioned by the company.
• Coordinate with the finance team to lock vendor registrations/onboarding.
• Coordinate release of advances and ensure all vendors are paid on time.

On Shoot

• Be present on shoot days to coordinate all production elements — crew, schedule, logistics, vendor issues - in real time.
• Troubleshoot on-ground issues quickly, keeping the shoot on schedule and on budget.
• Coordinate the post-production process once shoot is wrapped.
• Take creative feedback from the CD/creative team and ensure edits are executed exactly as per that feedback.
• Track edit timelines and ensure final deliverables are completed and delivered on

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in production planning/coordination for video/ad shoots (agency, production house, or in-house brand team background all welcome).
• Existing industry contacts across crew, vendors, locations, and production houses.
• Strong negotiation skills - proven ability to get quality output at feasible costs.
• Solid budgeting and cost-control skills, with a knack for creative problem-solving when budgets are tight.
• Comfort coordinating with finance teams on vendor registration, advances, and payments.
• Experience with post-production coordination - working with editors, tracking feedback loops, and managing delivery timelines.
• A go-getter attitude - someone who solves problems on the spot rather than escalating everything.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple shoots/projects and their respective timelines simultaneously.
• Willingness to be hands-on and present on shoot days as required.

Good to Have

• Experience working on performance marketing/ad creative shoots (vs. only brand films).
• Basic understanding of the creative process so you can bridge conversations between the CD and vendors/editors effectively.
