We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer and Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling, and the technical expertise to produce high-quality video content from concept to completion. This role involves both filming and post-production, requiring a blend of technical skills, creativity, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for a variety of projects, including promotional videos, social media content, events, interviews, and more.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists that align with project goals.
• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio gear, and drones (if applicable).
• Capture high-quality footage with attention to composition, lighting, and audio.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Add motion graphics, sound effects, music, and color grading to enhance video quality.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Manage and organize video files, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of work.
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills And Experience Required

• Proven experience as a videographer and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
• Experience with color grading and sound design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

Pedigree

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in videography and video editing.
• Experience working in an agency is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements (e.g., Instagram, YouTube etc).
• Certification or training in video production or editing software is an advantage.
