Responsibilities

• Utilize TOC Flow for shop-floor level planning and improvements.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual Production, Schedule Adherence and throughput; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with SAP MRP for raw-material planning and availability.
• Collaborate with Sales/BU, Production, Purchase, Warehouse, Dispatch, IE, Quality and Maintenance.
• Manage RM, WIP and FG inventory to balance delivery, inventory, and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Production Planning & Control (PPC) function across three business divisions.
• Develop and monitor monthly, weekly and daily production plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
• Drive capacity planning, material planning and production scheduling to achieve customer delivery commitments.
• Prepare and maintain a 12-month rolling production and capacity plan and identify future capacity requirements.
• Utilise TOC Flow for production planning and ensure effective implementation at the shop-floor level.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual Production, Schedule Adherence, Throughput and Dispatch Performance and drive corrective actions.
• Identify production bottlenecks, capacity constraints and potential delivery risks in advance and implement recovery plans.
• Drive SAP MRP for raw-material planning and ensure material availability aligned with production requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales/BU, Production, Purchase, Warehouse, Dispatch, IE, Quality and Maintenance teams for seamless execution.
• Manage RM, WIP and FG inventory levels while balancing customer delivery, inventory and capacity utilisation.
• Coordinate with Purchase and suppliers on critical material shortages and supply risks.
• Work closely with the IE team on machine capacity, manpower requirements, capacity expansion and long-term planning.
• Drive daily, weekly and monthly PPC review meetings, MIS and management reporting.
• Support the S&OP process by providing demand, production, capacity, material and manpower inputs.
• Improve PPC systems and processes to reduce reactive planning and production firefighting, while improving delivery, throughput and inventory performance.

Looking for a PPC leader from the automotive/auto-component manufacturing industry with strong experience in production planning, capacity planning, SAP MRP, material planning and cross-functional coordination. Candidates who have managed planning across multiple divisions/plants with high-volume manufacturing environments would be preferred.
