Job summary

Faurecia in Tamil Nadu is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planning and Supply Chain leader to drive end-to-end planning, scheduling, and logistics management for automotive programs. The role requires coordinating with manufacturing, quality, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal material flow.

The candidate should bring 10–15 years in automotive manufacturing, strong experience in Production Planning and Control, and a proven track record in S&OP, MPS,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management.
• 10–15 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.

• Strong logistics and warehouse management experience.

• Customer scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time customer deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Manage production planning and scheduling activities.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/PIC).
• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS/PDP).
• Coordinate production plans with Manufacturing and Operations teams.
• Support successful launch of new programs.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock.
• Coordinate transportation and warehouse activities.
• Drive logistics cost optimization initiatives.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers.
• Lead the Plant PC&L team.
• Define departmental objectives and KPIs.
• Develop team capability through coaching and training.
• Ensure adequate staffing and succession planning.
• Monitor logistics KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing teams.
• Resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Improve delivery performance and inventory accuracy.
