Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• 3–7 years of PPC experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Strong ERP systems knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on schedules and capacity.
• Develop machine-wise loading plans for optimal utilization.
• Monitor capacity utilization and identify improvements.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and delivery timelines.
• Generate production orders through ERP.
• Monitor WIP and shop floor coordination.
• Track progress, identify delays, and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely material availability.
• Prepare planning MIS and production tracking reports.
• Provide regular production status updates to management.

The role requires strong coordination with cross-functional departments to optimize productivity, minimize delays, and improve delivery performance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on project schedules and manufacturing capacity.
• Develop machine-wise loading plans for optimum utilization of plant resources.
• Monitor production capacity utilization and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and committed delivery timelines.
• Generate and release production orders through ERP systems.
• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) through ERP and shop floor coordination.
• Track production progress, identify delays, and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and planning data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments for timely material availability.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and production inputs as per production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and material shortages to avoid production disruptions.
• Support inventory optimization and stock control activities.
• Coordinate effectively with Design Department, Production Department, Stores, Purchase

• Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of production-related issues.
• Prepare planning MIS reports and production tracking reports.
• Monitor bottlenecks, delays, and resource constraints.
• Provide regular production status updates to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and manufacturing processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), preferably in fabrication and manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Production planning and scheduling expertise.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective coordination and communication skills.
