Job summary

Pratiroop Mudran in Pune seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee end-to-end mono-carton printing and packaging operations. The role involves coordinating production planning, machine utilization, and cross-functional teams to meet quality and delivery targets.

Ideal candidates have 5–15 years in mono-cartons or printing & packaging, deep knowledge of offset printing, die-punching, folding-gluing, and a track record of Lean improvements and cost control.

Production Manager Mono Cartons Printing & Packaging

Location: Pune
Experience: 5-15 Years | Industry: Printing & Packaging

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage end-to-end production and plant operations in a mono-carton manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Manage manpower planning, deployment, productivity and shift operations.
• Coordinate with Sales & customers for production status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Prepress and Dispatch.
• Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower and raw materials.
• Monitor and control wastage, rejection, rework and production downtime.
• Ensure consistent quality and achievement of production targets and delivery commitments.
• Oversee complete carton manufacturing processes including offset printing, coating, punching, folding, gluing and packing.
• Drive 5S, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Take overall responsibility for smooth functioning of the plant with focus on productivity, quality, timely delivery and minimum wastage.
• Prepare and review production MIS, KPIs and plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

Candidate Profile:
Experience in mono cartons / printing & packaging manufacturing with strong knowledge of offset printing, die-punching, folding-gluing, production planning, manpower management and plant operations. Strong leadership, problem-solving and coordination skills are essential.
