Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking an experienced Production Manager (Menswear) to oversee end-to-end garment production for a premium menswear label. You will coordinate with pattern masters, karigars, embroidery teams, stitching units and quality control to ensure craftsmanship, fit, finishing and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on planning, vendor coordination, and the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines while tracking material consumption and production costs.

Qualifications

• 47 years of experience in garment production, preferably in premium menswear, designer wear or occasion wear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern development, stitching and finishing.
• Experience handling embroidery-intensive garments and multiple production processes.
• Strong planning, team management, vendor coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and production tracking systems.
• Ability to manage multiple styles, quantities and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules based on orders, collection launches and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with sampling, pattern-making, cutting, embroidery, stitching, finishing and quality control teams.
• Monitor the production of heavily hand-embroidered menswear, ensuring embroidery and garment construction are aligned.
• Track fabric, trims, embroidery materials and other raw material requirements.
• Maintain production trackers covering order status, quantities, work-in-progress, rejections and pending deliveries.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, machines and production resources.
• Coordinate with vendors, job workers and external manufacturing units.
• Monitor production costs, wastage, rework and material consumption.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve production delays proactively.
• Ensure approved samples, measurements and construction details are followed during bulk production.
• Conduct regular production-floor reviews and report progress to management.
• Maintain production records and ensure dispatch deadlines are met.
