Job summary

Linen and Beyond Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the complete textile production floor in Bargur, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.

The role requires hands-on experience in planning, cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, quality checks and packing, with a focus on meeting daily targets and maintaining quality. You will coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch, manage manpower, monitor productivity, and drive process improvements to minimize

Qualifications

• Experience leading a complete production floor in textile/garment manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, quality checking and packing.
• Experience in hospitality linen or hotel linen production is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire production floor from fabric cutting to final packing.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on orders and schedules.
• Oversee cutting, stitching, tailoring, finishing, ironing, quality checks and packing operations.
• Allocate manpower and machinery to meet targets efficiently.
• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
• Monitor daily output, productivity, rejection, rework and wastage.
• Ensure product quality per customer specs and export standards.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch.
• Monitor material availability and maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain daily production and manpower reports and Excel MIS.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to manage our complete textile production floor. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production planning, cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, quality checking and packing operations, preferably in a textile export or hospitality linen manufacturing unit.
The candidate will be responsible for managing manpower, achieving daily production targets, maintaining quality standards, improving productivity and ensuring the timely completion of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the complete production floor from fabric cutting to final packing.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Handle cutting, stitching, tailoring, finishing, ironing, quality checking, folding and packing operations.
• Allocate manpower and machinery to achieve production targets efficiently.
• Supervise production supervisors, tailors, checkers, helpers, ironing staff and packing workers.
• Monitor daily production output, productivity, rejection, rework and material wastage.
• Ensure product quality according to customer specifications and export standards.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch departments.
• Monitor raw material availability and ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain daily production reports, manpower reports, efficiency reports and Excel MIS.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure optimum manpower utilization and control production costs.
• Maintain workplace discipline, safety standards and housekeeping.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• 812 years of relevant experience in textile or garment manufacturing.

• Experience managing production workers, supervisors and daily manpower requirements.
• Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and controlling costs.
• Experience in hospitality linen, hotel linen or textile export manufacturing is highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands‑on experience in manufacturing bed sheets, pillow covers, napkins, table linen, chair covers, bed covers and similar hospitality textile products will be given preference.
Candidates must be capable of independently managing production operations and ensuring on‑time completion of customer orders.
