Job summary

The Production Manager at Trelleborg Group will oversee fabrication operations in India, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and project timelines.

You will manage manpower, optimize resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive smooth production execution, with 8–12 years in fabrication or heavy engineering and a background in Mechanical/Production Engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Fabrication Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding standards, and production planning.
• Experience managing production teams and meeting project deadlines.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Monitor fabrication activities and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, welding procedures, and fabrication processes.
• Lead and manage production teams, including supervisors, welders, and fitters.
• Enforce safety practices and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Coordinate with planning, design, stores, and logistics teams.
• Prepare production reports and provide progress updates to management.

Job Summary
